The Art of Intent
In this unprecedented digital age, where social media, A.I, and the overall expansion of the internet have dissolved barriers to information, a paradigm shift has occurred. The days when knowledge was a scarce resource, hoarded by a privileged few, are long gone. The once-elusive secrets to financial success now seem to be freely available to almost anyone with an internet connection. And with that has come the massive obsession with wealth. It has become so glamorized that just about any and everyone “knows” how to become wealthy. No seriously, go outside of your bedroom or house for a minute, ask the first person you see “how can I become a millionaire”, and I promise you they'll provide you with a logical blueprint and formula for becoming a millionaire. Now tell me, the person you just asked, are they a millionaire? No I didn't think so. But it's ok, I'm not either. My point is that despite the abundance of information out there, the elusive millionaire status still remains unattainable for most of us. Luckily, this article isn't about becoming a millionaire; it's about something far more fulfilling: personal success. Now before you roll your eyes and log off because you think this might be some 'believe-in-yourself' mumbo jumbo, hear me out.
Naturally, as we scroll through social media, we're drawn to the glittering façades of influencers like Andrew Tate, Grant Cardone, Iman Gadzhi, oh and you can't forget about the 19 year old who just learnt about dropshipping a couple months ago and already on their way to making seven figures. We witness their journeys, absorbing their advice and wisdom, hoping that it might hold the key to our own dreams. But in truth, their success is not a universal blueprint. It's not about the information they share; it's about the mindset, the determination, and the plan of action each individual possesses for their own personal desires, goals, and dreams. Key words: their own personal desires.
The rise of motivational influencers has given way to a new paradox: we're infatuated with these inspirational messages, yet most of us have nothing to show for it. We're becoming a generation content with receiving vague but seemingly solid advice from distant screens, rather than embarking on the transformative journey of self-discovery and specialized learning. Now I'm not saying that you shouldn't take advice from your favorite social media figure but what I am saying is information isn't the currency of success it once was and that's just the truth. The overwhelming abundance of online content diminishes its own intrinsic value, leaving us drowning in a sea of options but devoid of genuine purpose and true direction.
Envision the numerous inspirational Tik-Toks you've scrolled through, the countless YouTube channels you've subscribed to, and all the books on self-improvement you have read. How many have truly altered the course of your life? Very few right? The differences between each of these outlets lies in intention. Intention transforms mere information into profound knowledge. Those who have delved deep into those self-improvement books seeking understanding know exactly what I’m talking about. Unlike the passive consumption of social media shorts and YouTube videos, reading books becomes an intentional act, a personal quest for enlightenment. But it can't stop at books alone.
Nurture your personal success you seek by knowing yourself, understanding your desires, and charting your unique path. Social media platforms push reels and shorts to the masses, but only you can comprehend the real depth of your ambitions. These influencers, as knowledgeable as they may be, don't possess the profound understanding to your own personal journey simply because it's just impossible. How can somebody with reposonbility of leading millions to the promise land guarentee that you make it to where you need to be? They can't no matter how much they would like to. In the same token, there's no amount of A.I that's going to make you successful just with the click of a button. The internet and everything it has to offer is meant to be used as a resource, tool, and even a guide but never a map for success.
To embark on the journey of self-discovery, you must begin by asking yourself: Who am I truly? Where do I want to go in life? What do I lack to get there? Be relentless in your pursuit of understanding and seek the wisdom that resonates with your dreams. When you align your intentions with purposeful learning, you'll discover that success is not merely a destination; it's a continuous, intentional journey. The answers are inside you; it's time to unlock them, set your intentions ablaze, and journey toward the extraordinary life you deserve. Remember, the pursuit of knowledge with intention is the cornerstone of greatness. Let it guide you, let it empower you, and let it inspire you to reach higher, dream bigger, and, above all, become more than you have ever imagined.
